Meaning of root *bha
“Bha” is a root which seems to be related to the “appearance” of celestial bodies. The dictionary defines “bha” as to “appear” to “exhibit” to “manifest” and also “shine” “lustre” “light” effects which seem to come from that which “appears” and to substantiate this “bha” also means “star”.
The Greek “pha” and “phasis" meaning “appearing” “speaking” and this produces the word “phase” as in “the phases of the Moon” which is a mirror image of the meaning of “bha” and “bhas” the “appearance” of the celestial bodies.
These two components “bha” and “bhas” meaning “light” and “sound” are simply the expressions of the heavenly spheres which become “the language of the Gods”. Its a celestial paradigm which is being expressed in Sanskrit as its source is celestial and the goal of the ancients was to once again unite with the celestial spheres.
“Bha” expressing “light” “lustre” “shining” “splendour” also becomes “Bhaj” expressing “worship” it becomes “Bhakta” expressing “the worshipper” and it becomes “Bhaga” and “Bhagavan” expressing “God" the “object of worship”.
“Bhas” produces “bhaskara” a name for the “Sun” as in “the maker ( kara ) of light ( bhas )”.
“Bha” meaning “to appear” “to speak” becomes the Greek “phe” as in “pheme” meaning “to speak”.
The word “prophet” is a very important word meaning “to speak before God”. The “pro” meaning “to advance” “before” “in front of” is the Sanskrit “pra” meaning “before” “advance” “in front of” and the “phet” meaning “to speak” is simply this “phe” which comes from the Sanskrit “bha” meaning “to speak”.
As the Sanskrit “bha” meaning “appear” “speak” becomes the Greek “pha” meaning “appear” “speak” it also becomes the Latin “fa” meaning to “appear” “speak”. This becomes the latin “fabula” meaning “story” “that which is told” which produces the words “fable” “fabulous” “fib” and “confabulate”.
